Discount Tire

I don't know who has the cheapest tire on the market at the moment, but I would at least consider getting a quote from discount tire for a few reasons; they are a forum sponsor, their prices are completive, they do a really nice job mounting and balancing large tires. If they don't get it right the first time, they will balance them until they are right, no questions asked.

Btw: I think you're making a great tire choice. ?
+1 on @Discount Tire
They also price match so if you find a good deal somewhere else they'll match it! Be advised that @Northridge4x4 also beats prices from competitors just not sure if they do that on tires
You could buy from discount tire direct then and take them to your favorite tire installer, possibly Les Schwab, they are good around here.
America's tire is also good.
I second everything @Flip said. I bought my Nittos online through Joseph Rupp with @Discount Tire and he got me a great deal. Tires were delivered to the dealership and installed the day my Jeep rolled off the truck.

Edit - there’s no such thing as a good 4x4 shop anywhere near me - I shop online for everything, including tires.
DT and America's tire out here are the same as well.
They have always been really good for me.

I use discount tire direct a lot, since they will send the tires to my door and only charge $50 freight on 5 tires. Plus you can buy the certificates on line as well. I have bead locks on the jeep so it makes more since for me.
Me too I got the Baja Boss and love them
Also they will price match and agree they do a great job getting them balanced and mounted up
Discount tire direct in Arizona.
I have always been loyal to Discount Tire but during my recent search for new tires for my wife's vehicle I went with Costco. Costco doesn't charge for install, road hazard warranty and the other items Discount Tire does. The exact same tire was about the same price but without all the addons I saved a lot. Downside to Costco is they only carry a few brands but Bridgestone is one of them so when it is time to replace my KO's I can get them there
I like Tire Rack….will ship to house or my mechanic (who knows his stuff) plus you get free road hazard insurance (which is a no brainer if you have those dumbass low profile tires on your daily drivers). You can geek out on all their tire info and reviews.
Thank you all for the shout outs and continued support! We truly appreciate the opportunity to earn your business!

Don't forget...Discount Tire does maintain a Low Price Promise! We will match competitor pricing on all products that we sell!

Just wondering what the consensus is for dealers/sellers with the best deals on tires? I'm about to have to get a new set of 35s, probably going with the MT Baja Boss AT. Prices I've seen among national dealers are pretty consistent in the $370 range. Ebay seems to have some better deals, just not sure I trust buying tires there. And I'm talking just purchasing them, I have a place I trust to mount/balance.
Discount Tire, been buying there for the past 25 years, good deal, good people and good company...I used to wheel with them out in Scottsdale Az when I lived there.

Anywhere but the stealership - they charge max pricing and don’t offer any free support services like lifetime rotations or flat repairs. The latter may be worth something depending on your needs. I got a great deal on BFG KO2s from BB Wheels a few months ago (no Discount Tire in the Northeast ?)

Mm. Don't count out the dealers just to do so. Some of them do have promotions that are worth our consideration.

E.g., our Honda dealer, from whom we've purchased three vehicles. Most years, during April and October, they have a "Buy 3 Tires/Get One Free" sale. Twice now have we taken advantage of that offer, in both instances coming in well under Costco's equivalent pricing (from whom we've also purchased tires in the past.) The Michelin Cross Climate² tires on my wife's CR-V were purchased last October as part of the Buy 3 sale.

Yes, shop carefully, but consider all sources, too.

They actually had that running when I purchased mine - except they wanted $400 / tire when I could get them for $270 elsewhere and still was cheaper to do so. But that’s a good point that many others may have better pricing than my local dealership and probably also dependent on the tire you’re getting.

Figured I'd give anyone in the market a heads up, I just ordered 5 MT Baja Boss AT tires in 35/12.5/17 on Priority Tire for $341 a tire, then an additional $30 off the total with code "Mega24". You do have to sign up for a membership, but it's free. Cheapest I've ever seen those tires.

I’ve seen prices shift a ton. The most consistent deals I’ve seen though are usually through simple tire. They run discount sales a lot and if you’re a veteran, will apply a discount on top of those sales making them the lowest priced by a significant margin.
Dude, nice find! They are the cheapest I've found yet for the 35 inch Baja Boss A/Ts I want. Since tires are one of the things that have increased in price the most over the last few years it's nice to get a deal on them. Good tires have never been cheap of course but they are significantly more expensive than they were prior to 2020 even after accounting for inflation.
