Probably the case w/ my Viair too, I just make damn sure that hose stays clear of the compresion chamber and put a towel between it and the hose when cooling down w/ the hose coiled up.Upgrade the air line for the HF heavy duty . The included yellow line melts under moderate heat created by air compressors.
The heat created by the compressor makes its way into the line. Think of it as internal venting. Depending on Tire size and original deflation pressure you might get 4 tires inflated with no problem. At some point the cheap yellow line can melt. Including a link to what might be the upgrade? It's not expensive.Probably the case w/ my Viair too, I just make damn sure that hose stays clear of the compresion chamber and put a towel between it and the hose when cooling down w/ the hose coiled up.
Thanks for the link, I think my Viair hose is a step above the HF version, but I'll keep that one in mind if I have issues. The heat created by the compressor makes its way into the line.
