Ok the title is misleading, but by gutting the Alpine system and installing Infinity(by Harmon) speakers in the dash and sound bar(SB) it's as close as you can get. This may help some sitting on the fence about audio upgrades. I first installed the Kicker replacement 3.5 co-ax in the dash as many said it was an improvement. I ended up with a harsh tinny treble and not much else. Knowing a 4" speaker is not going to produce mids I ordered the MB Quart 6x9 adapters and a set of Infinity Ref-9632ix co-ax for the SB and the Ref-3032CFX for the dash corners. Installing the MB Quart adaptors was not as big a deal as folks let on, I used a jig-saw with metal blade and made quick work of it. While the SB was on the table I added some poly-fil in the center section separating the two speakers and a little sound deadening in a few places to dampen any noise. With the low ohm speakers the sound volume did not decrease and might have gained a point or two. The real improvement though is the sound. There are frequencies that were lost with the Alpine generic speakers that I can hear again in songs I know by heart. This upgrade will not get you top down thumping audio, only a better after market amp will get you help there. What it did do was make the audio more pleasant to listen to. The factory equalizer settings I use are adding base and mid by a few ticks and leave the treble flat, the combo seems to fit most music styles. Below are a few shots of the Kicker and Infinity dash speakers to show the difference.

On the sound bar, did you connect the new speakers to the OEM mid harness, tweeter harness or connect to both of them/splice the harnesses together?

Tweeter harness ONLY. The mid connector gave muted garbage.

Interesting. On my Jeep, it was the reverse. I wound up using my mid harness. Tried splicing both harnesses together, but that resulted in horrible distortion.

Wonder what changed from 2018 to 2020.
