Hi! Does anyone know if it’s possible to have a dealer change out the standard lights to the LED lights in the led lighting package? I don’t have the money to afford a nicer mode with the packages so I settled for the Sport S. Thank you in advance!

If the plug style is the same you could probably do it in your garage or driveway, no need to pay the dealer to do it. If the plug style is different You might want to just swap the bulbs and wait for the aftermarket to catch up.

From what I understand the connector is different between led and halogen.

That makes sense with them being totally different.

The amount of work to try and swap in OEM LED's doesn't seem worth it really if you're going to it correctly since it would be necessary to swap out the wiring harness running to the fogs or try and craft a pig tail harness to plug into the factory plugs.

HidProjectors makes their HID lights for JL. You can send in your housing or buy new from them. You have to have the halogens though. https://www.hidprojectors.com/collections/wrangler-jl-2018

The LED headlights kit that MOPAR will be selling (whenever that happens) says it’s a pair of headlights and wiring harness so yes you should be able to swap them out at home but to get the DRL halos to work you will have to take it to the dealer or use the TAZER module whenever it’s avaialable too
