Center cowl retainer clips

Hi,
I removed my center cowl to put in the new Mopar wipers and one of the retaining clips was damaged. I can't find new ones available anywhere; anyone know where I can get a new clip?

Well, at least you did not break/damage the male(s) on the center cowl panel that the white clip(s) goes over.

CAREFUL, only push clips (any panel clips on the JL) in gently and firmly, once you line up the male clip with the female hole... avoid hammering in say, with the back of your fist, etc.

Takes just a minute to do ..........Pull the plastic panel that is under the steering column on your JL.
Look at the white retainer clips you see that secure that panel.
IF, it is the same as you damaged, here is the clip and where you can order.

Do post in this thread if the clip is the same... Good chance it is!

They look similar, but the clips on my 2022 JLUR are metal. I've found several similar looking ones, just not an actual Mopar part. I'm going to try some of the ones I found and see if they work.

The clips I'm referring to are for the hood area cowl that goes around the windshield wiper arms.

It appears to be the exact same clip as I pictured/ linked to. Again, it is easy for YOU to verify by comparing to the white clip on the panel under the steering wheel. The clip I linked to is used there.

Good luck!! I was missing a torx head screw and even though the dealer actually saw it they could not locate a part number. I finally found one on eBay from a guy that was selling the whole light assembly and just throwing away the extra bolts. Little did he know he was throwing money away. lol
