So I picked up my brand new 2020 JLUR with the 3.6 L and etorque. The drive home was about 500 kms from where I purchased it and half way home the check engine light went on. Start / stop is still working , engine is at full power and there are no signs of anything wrong. I took it to the dealership and they found the code
: P2B28-00 (HYBRID/EV BATTERY PACK COOLANT PUMP PERFORMANCE) They cleared the code and basically said they had no idea what that meant and to keep driving it to see if it came back. Well, one hour later sure enough its back.
Has anyone else experienced this. I am assuming it is somehow related to the mild hybrid system. Any help would be appreciated. I am going to try a different dealership as their reasoning was pretty bogus. Very annoying as the Jeep is brand new and we absolutely love it.
