I installed new Kenwood 3.5" speakers in the dash only (right and left). They work good when playing the radio, can fade the music forward or back etc., but when i play music through car play (plugged in or wirelessly) then the sound ONLY comes through the new two front speakers. I can't fade the sound to the back, no other speakers work. Thoughts?

Nothing to do with the new speakers as the system has no idea what speakers are installed.

This has happened to me a couple times, I believe the system thinks you’re on the phone or something.

I’m guessing it happened one time? Because it’s always fixed when I restart the car.

Weird, i deleted and re-installed the app. Did a hard reset on my phone. Started up the jeep again- all the same problem.

Yeah that’s definitely weird. Has to be software related if it works on the radio.

It’s like when you connect to the phone at all it thinks you’re making a phone call.
