CarFAX question

Hi all,
I’m currently shopping for what will be my 3rd Jeep. I’ve found one that checks all my boxes when I thought I would have to order one to get what i want but the carFax is interesting to me. I just want to make sure I’m digesting it right. Thanks!

7/17/20- Ontario ministry of trans- passed Ontario safety standards

8/17/20- mileage 6344 Ohio Dept of motor vehicles purchase reported

8/22/20- title issued Dealer took title of this vehicle while in inventory

9/24/20- mileage 6345 vehicle serviced at dealer

9/29/20 vehicle offered for sale

so basically someone out 6300 miles on it that Quickly or could there be some kind of discrepancy?

Sounds like a Canada-market vehicle originally that 6,300 miles later somehow ended in Ohio.

If it is indeed a Canada vehicle, you’d want to make sure the speedometer and odometer are in miles, and the warranty is still valid.

FCA will void the warranty of cross-border sales, unless it is a special situation —e.g., armed forces or diplomat being relocated across the border, etc.

Im in the car business in Ontario I would say its a former daily rental.
Many dealers in Canada are buying daily rentals through the auctions and selling them to dealers in USA and picking up the 30% US/Canada dollar exchange rate.
Canadian dealer probably nets 5-6k profile flipping the vehicle to the states
They make more money wholesaling it to a US dealer then they can make selling to a local Canadian retail buyer.
