Car Seat in 4xe

What car seats do you all use in your 4xe? I have a 1-year old and a 4-year old and both car seats cause me to have to put the seats way more forward than I'd like. On day two and its already kind of annoying moving my seat around if the kid is/isn't in the car. Hoping someone has some slightly lower profile options than these massive ones I have.

We have 2 4xes and both have a Graco 4Ever DLX in them for our 3 year old, but it's a pretty bulky seat. Since we only have 1 kid in a car seat, we keep it on the passenger side and that way only the passenger seat has to be moved forward a bit. We don't have to adjust the driver seat when swapping vehicles as my wife has long legs, I typically drive when we're together regardless of which Jeep we're in, and my wife doesn't mind the passenger seat being forward a few notches, so it hasn't really been an issue.

I just got my Jeep a month or so ago and coming from an F-150 SuperCrew which is like a damn limousine even with the seats fully back, the Jeep is definitely a much tighter fit! I've been thinking about looking for a more compact seat, but with our daughter being very tall for her age I probably only have another year before she'll be in a belt-positioning booster. At that point I'll find something less bulky despite the fact that the 4Ever DLX is designed to be for infants-10 years old since it converts between rear/forward facing, as well as backed and backless booster.

I have a clek on the passenger side and a full back booster in the middle, nothing behind the driver side.

Lol, that's pretty funny! I'm pretty sure I'm me though...

I miss the room I had in my truck and it was such a sweet ride all around, but after 6 years with it and having lowered and lifted it twice, plus rode it stock for awhile on either end of that, it was time for something new to play with!

Just ordered one... Sam's Club had the best price I found for 169.99 with free shipping for Plus members. I had also forgotten that car seats are exempt from sales tax but that was a nice bonus as well!

Nuna Rev is working well for my 3 year old. Still rear facing. I believe that is one of safest car seats available. Important in side impact. Can easily have 5 10 passengers in front with this seat.

Yes, I have 2 in the back of mine. It's tight, but it works. I am 6'1" and am comfortable in the driver's seat. Both are rear facing.

If you wouldn't mind snapping a picture sometime with them installed and noting what setting they are on, I'd be very grateful. Thank you for the input, that's reassuring. Mine is currently rear-facing, but in the most upright rear-facing position (I think it's 5?)

Mine are on the 2 setting.
