Andy, what I tried today and it worked superbly, was to use both the bungees AND a velcro strap. Bungees on each side and the velcro binding the center of the fabric to itself. The bungees stopped the bouncing but at higher speeds I was still getting a flapping noise from the loose roof fabric. Now it works perfectly! No bounce; no flapping noise. Perfection.

Ah nice. I got some Velcro straps and bungees earlier today. Haven’t driven with them yet but got it all ready for a week of dodging rain showers .

For those with a 2 door soft top, when you put your top down does it block the view out of the back from the rear view mirror?

The way I sit and have my mirror set, it blocks about the bottom 5th mirror. Here are a couple of pictures with top up , then top down.

i would replace that center strap with two straps towards the outside. with time and heat the soft top gets a sort of smiley face look to it, the outside corners curve upwards, this is bad news when you put the top back up as the corners will contact the windshield first, leaving an ever enlarging gap of loose fit towards the center of the windshield. if you strap it towards the edges you get more of a frown shape as the corners will dip down a lil, this will serve you much better when you put the top back up as the center will contact the windshield first and the latches will suck the corners down. hope this helps, kinda a long explanation.

Well.... a tiny bit; but no more than when the back seat is in its upright position (when someone can sit in it). My biggest gripe was that the wind bounced it around even when locked and it flapped. But I remedied that with tie-downs. Now I love going with the top all the way down.

I do it all the time when I have my YZ on the back one of photos is on the freeway at at 75mph coming home from the track.

Yes, you can, and if you have a TazerJL programmer you can have the rear camera stay on as long as you desire when driving forward.

Also...soon, when the newest firmware for the TazerJL is finalized, you will be able to have the camera turn on when you have a turn signal on.

I have one comment to share and one question.

For those of you with PST I find the best item to clean the windows is PLEXUS. You can get it at Amazon.
I wonder if anybody knows the ratio of manual trans to automatics.
My Rubi is manual and my dealer said he only delivered a few

There is no such thing as a "stupid question"

TazerJL is a $300+ programmer. It attaches to the JL and allows you to enable and disable, set things.

you know us wrangler people need to get in the game, when i had my 4runner uyou could download a program from the forum to your laptop buy the obii connector and make all the changes you want for free. Do we have any hackers on here?

On your Uconnect screen on the bottom menu click on apps and It will be in the upper left corner of the screen it will say “Rear view camera “
