The age old debate. To answer NO. Will you or have some YES. When you say stock which stock. 8.5 beadlocks yes. No I tread lightly here cause of all the yes you can guys.

Anything 8 and under you run the risk or blowing bead period. Also you will rub. What I recommend is a 35x11.5 best combo to date. Or jump up to a 37x12.5.

This all depends on your intent with your Jeep Jeep.

Likely— “Standard guidelines for mounting 35/12.50/17’s is on 7.5–11.5” rims” , Tire and Rim Manufacturers Association —DT. …… no issues with stock non XR 392 wheels, including being even with the flares, no extensions necessary to prevent throwing rocks, debris, mud, etc on Jeep. Unless the increased lift creates rubbing or rubi wheels have a different backspace /offset.

Since a stock Rubicon can run 35s as-is why not use the lift money for wider wheels with a better offset?

Note, can run on the street.

OP, The most you are risking is quicker wear, do whatever floats your boat. Note, some shops may not do it, and you don’t necessarily get to pick your shop if you have a blowout on a long trip

Small rubbing on the back of the rear inner liner plastic when at full flex on the trail but not a big deal. No rubbing on the front.

Oh no… here we go again. I’m pretty sure there is a certain forum member who has 2 accounts and starts a similar thread then logs into the other account to post that it isn’t possible. All the while there are multiples of members who say yes you can and post pics even.

3" of lift on a Rubicon is too much for that small of a tire. You'll be kicking yourself for not going with 37's.
