Camping subforum

I was thinking it'd be a great idea to have an actual Camping/Jeep Camping subforum. I've been digging into getting my Jeep set up for overland camping and sleeping in it and most of those posts wind up in General. It'd be really helpful, and probably great for those of us that use our Jeeps more in that direction, if that stuff was all organized into it's own subforum.

A lot of it will relate to Interior/Exterior/Electrical mods and you can find various camping threads in those, but I'd dig it if they were centralized.

Instead of really talking about camping in my Jeep on JLWF I wind up really doing it more on "expedition" generic forums. But a lot of my questions are more Jeep specific.

With that said, maybe it's been brought up and there wasn't enough traffic or interest. I've added a poll for people to add their opinions in case that helps deterimine if there's enough interest for it.

edit: Right after I posted this I started grabbing some overlanding route maps andrealized you could probably just call it Overlanding/Overlanders..

I would love it if there was a camping or overloading sub-forum. My Jeep is my daily driver but my for my family and for me, the best part of owning it is for camping. It is a total bonding experience and it brings us all together. Plus, my boys love all the cool camping gear!

I've been prepping the jeep for camping

So far....

Roof rack with basket
Hitch mount carrier
CB radio
Wife and i were already camping nuts so we have all that gear already....
Backroad map book

Now we just have to wait for the weather to clear up....
