The online builder doesn’t reflect what’s on restriction. Ones notoriously buggy and out of date.

I haven't actually ordered an XR - while it is pretty much perfect for my needs I am hoping to see the 20th anniversary Rubicon before deciding. Judging from Easter Jeep Safari the 20th anniversary maybe more than I want, and will likely cost a lot, I think I should just order the XR if and when the package comes back

Last year I ordered a Rubicon in June (before XR was announced) and it was delivered in September

Oh okay, makes sense. Yeah I ordered mine with nearly everything minus what I could buy aftermarket; floor mats, headliners, steel bumper, rock sliders, no one-touch power top lol,

What you can configure on the jeep buil website and what can be ordered are two different things. Don't assume just cause you can build it you can order it.

I ordered it on 9/13 and it is being built as of 10/13 with a vin. Site shows a estimated delivery date of 12/5. I hope it gets built. It has been hit or miss with my dealer on getting this thing built. He called me as soon as it opened up for ordering so I did just that.

Usually when you get a VIN it's gonna be built because it's more of a hassle not to build it

The XR option is back available on the Jeep website

The website is always behind vs what the dealership sees. You can still get Reign and from what I saw I thought it was already discontinued.

I assume those of us with confirmed orders and vins who ordered the XR package but are yet to be scheduled are okay and can expect our orders to continue and eventually be delivered with the XR package?

This has been happening since the inception of the XR package. It comes and goes. Our loaded ‘23 URXR was ordered in July and was delivered in early Sept. It had been taken off the ordering availability multiple times in ‘22 and now the same in ‘23. No need to panick, it will be back and current accepted orders with vins will be built.

I'm wondering the same thing; it's going to get a bit confusing using the same name on two very different products. I'm thinking that the Recon package as we know it today will be canned pretty soon, but all the same parts will reappear on the 20th Anniversary Rubicon Edition, and on the lesser trims they will come up with something for that options group.

On Jeps website, the build and price tool, right? It's a love/hate relationship with their website because they don't update it as soon as they change any pricing or options. It's a great tool to see different options, and even see how it will look. The downside is when they remove options (whether temporarily or permanently), they may not have it reflected on their website which often leads to confusion/anger over not being able to order the Jeep with the option. It's nothing new, so any build that gets sent to me, I let the person know when I build my quote up for them.

Weird… just did this right now

Sometimes the build site lags actual availability. It will let you configure it any way you want but when you get your build sheet to the dealer it won't let them enter the options.
