I picked up a 392 JL and I love it. I’ve always like AEV, but sometimes I wonder if it’s too bought-not-built. I’ve always been into Fox and Kings tuned and dialed and stage 4 kits from say Accutune is substantially more advanced that AEV’s dual sport kit that comes with their package. I love the AEV bumpers and wheels, but even there I’m new and don’t know if there are better options. So- is an AEV JLU 370 admired or kinda not really the best way to spend $20-25k for upgrades. Meaning are there better bumpers as I believe there is better suspension options. Make sense?

I’m the same way. I bought the 2020 JLU base. I love it, and its my first jeep. I don’t have a lot of money on deck to spend on the best of the best. I think the best way to do it Is to decide what your end goal Is.

For me, i want something that handles excellent on highways, but if/when i get a chance to go off road I want to be able to keep up. In regards to your build, I’m not super familiar with the offerings for the 392. I think the AEV builds are awesome, but in the same sense once its built its built ya know? I am having fun making additions and then deciding what I want to do next. I started with getting a small lift and fenders and bumpers, and now I’m ready to lift up to about 2.5 inches. Clayton, RK and MC, are what ive been looking at. Fox shocks are great. Ive heard that Old man EMU rides stiff and is great off road. I hope this helps at all.

It’s not so much about it being done and the journey is over, but rather is there better options for that budget?
