I need more lights!

Just bought a WARN Elite Stubby for the JLUR, and it doesn't have good mounting options for my 12" light bar. It looks better prepared to be equipped with a pair of pod lights. My eventual goal is to get a couple of BD LP6s or 9s. I'll probably pick some up in a year.... but in the meantime, I do a lot of night driving outdoors, and need some light.

Anyone have a good budget option they'd recommend? Like an amazon special? I'm thinking sub $150 for a pair would be ideal. Only requirement is I need a flood, or spread pattern. I want to light up a lot of the trail up- close. TIA!

I have a set of nilites I got a while back for backup lights on my JK. To be honest, im concerned they aren't bright enough. If I don't have another viable option abby time soon, I'll probably throw them on to try them out though.

Rugged ridge and RC have some cheap options.

KC C3s are right around the $150 mark, but I don’t think I’d run them up front.

BD Squad Sport Drivers are $225 with the NR Forum discount. I’d do that and then sell them when you swap to the LPs.

I’ve seen caliraisedled mentioned on other forums as a cheaper alternative to the more premium brands. I can’t attest to how good they are, but you can search in google to get some opinions.

Check out Brad at TotalZParts.com. I got a pair of LP9 and Squadron pros for under retail. I’d just save your money and get The Baja Design. I never looked back

Hey @Mocopo, Thanks for considering our LP line in the future. If you are looking for some cheaper options in the Baja Designs Family check out our S1 pod lights in a pair. While they are small they pack a great punch.

I know they are a bit steep in your price range but they will be a great addition when you upgrade to the LPs on the bumper and come with the capability of lens swaps. If you are interested feel free to reach out via email and I can help you out.

Here's my two cents.

Hella 500/700 series lights in fog or driving pattern. They are less than $100. They provide more light than you can use at lower speeds.
Jeep Wrangler JL Budget Bumper Light Option? Front Bumper and Winch

Edited to add: I don't consider these a "budget option". I consider these the best lights, not just for the money, but for most situations. They just happen to be relatively inexpensive lights that are as good or better than other more expensive lights.
