Ordering a JLURD. I know the new Rubis come with upgraded brakes, but I'm going to have 37s on the 3.0 and with the added 400lbs + all the steel armor I will put on, upgrading brakes seems like a good idea.

Will swapping out for PowerStop Extreme pads be sigifinicant? Do I need to go with rotors also....or even calipers before I start seeing a noticeable difference?

I have a 2021 JLURD and the factory front calipers are larger and dual piston. I previously had a 2012 AEV JKU Sport on 37s and went with the Power Stop Pad and Rotor kit to help counter the issues you've addressed. The JLURD stops amazing but I haven't lifted it with 37's yet. I would assume upgrading to better rotors and pads wouldn't hurt but maybe someone else can chime in that has already lifted theirs with 37's?

I’m looking at Baer’s SS4 13.5” front and 13” rear kit right now actually. My thing is what ever kit I got with, I don’t want to be hunting for rotors 5 years from now because they were “custom”. I think whatever you go with, make sure they are a known brand that makes the parts or at least rebranded from a reputable OEM.
