Brake light shenanigans

Spotted a Wrangler this evening with lights wired into the spare tire rim so that they lit up simultaneously with the brake lights. Looked hot! Was that a one off or is it a thing?! Might have to trick out my soon to be JLU that way ?

No not a one off thing. You can buy them online. Not a popular mod around here but I do see them from time to time...

Interesting, I checked out the link in that thread (thanks btw) and the one I saw looked different. I swear it looked like there were just 5 red lights positioned in the 5 openings within the rim. Maybe there are different styles
