Read an article about a guy who had built a FB page for that and got rich enough to quit his daily job. Stuff is nuts.Do any of you buy or sell in the secondary market?
What’s your favorite daily?
Whats your best shelf bottle?
I haven't yet tried the JD Sinatra. How is it?It changes every time I buy a bottle. My two mainstays are Jack Daniels Gentleman Jack and Crown Royal. If I could afford it Jack Daniels Sinatra is really good but at $150 a bottle...........
I was filming a spot and used another client’s home Friday. He had a bottle of Blantons on his 15x6’ kitchen island, another bottle on the pool bar in the “basement” and yet another one in the living room.Daily is definitely just a rotation of whatever I am feeling. Found a couple really good Old Fashioned selections though one being Johnny Drumm. Special drinking on occasion would be Blantons but even here in Bourbon country tough to get. Never had Pappy but I am sure I will love it.
I guess I should have been more specific. Impossible to get here at MSRP. You can get it from some of the liquor stores I do not frequent for $100+ a bottle. If they don’t sell at MSRP I walk. I have a pretty good local shop now that he will probably hold me one maybe but he hasn’t got one bottle in 3 months. We were told by someone very close to Buffalo Trace employee that next year things should loosen up over there. The bourbon craze took off and most distilleries were not ready for it.I was filming a spot and used another client’s home Friday. I've had some whiskeys like that myself. Recently I bought a Las Vegas Golden Knights whisky and it's not bad, but it's not really good either.Picked up a bottle each of 1792 Full Proof and Booker’s “Granny’s Batch”. Haven’t opened the Bookers’s. The 1792 is alright, not special. Being bottled at 125 proof it has a lot of bold flavors fighting inside your mouth. After half a bottle I can’t decide if that’s good or bad. Guess I’ll have to keep drinking until I can make a determination.
