Vinyl will certainly do a good job of being sacrificial to pin striping. It isn't going to do too much against a hard branch that would crease the paint.

RUBICON decals with a Colorado C are definitely doable. I've done that with the previous styles of rubi decals many times.

I can certainly get a PUNK'N edition decal ready - just got the Mojito! one done this weekend.

Feel free to hit me up over email and we can get your projects going!

Can you post a picture of what it looks like from the drivers seat? Looks sweet! How was the install?

I got the matte. Install was a little rough. The decal itself had a few creases in it that wouldn’t smooth out so we took a hair dryer to it. I heated it while husband pulled and smoothed it out

Do you have to remove the windshield washer to install the decal? Also can you do a matt black with a red outline similar to the RUBICON lettering.?

Yes, for a clean install you have to remove the washers and bumpers. I tried developing it with the cutout and felt the install would be too difficult for a novice that way. Besides that, it just looks better if you take the extra 20 minutes to remove those pieces for installation. I personally thought the little paint colored border around the bumpers looked unfinished when I had my prototypes installed.

A red outline will require an entire second decal in red be applied first, or you can purchase red pinstripe vinyl and stripe it after installation. To have a red outline with a matte finish like the factory rubicon decals would require screen printing and large quantities.

I like that @pixeldecals version myself. Looks cleaner and I don't mind the extra time considering it would be much more troubling to my OCD if I didn't have the edges all equal around the bumpers. LOL
