Camping we can do dispersed so we can play it by ear unless someone has a nice spot already.

It's definitely possible the trails could be closed by then also. Last year they closed from March 18th-June 30th.

Man my weekends are crazy for a bit. I might have to wait until middle of March before I can do anything on a weekend. I'll let you know when things get closer but it would have to be the March dates for sure and when that is not a high%.

Haven’t done the now mandatory gatekeeper at gold mountain, looked way harder than rest of it. Basically all three I think would be doable stock, if you’re willing to scrape some undercarriage, though I would add some kind of diff protection though not mandatory.
What would be mandatory is some better rock sliders. Even Westin type triple tubes or big brand sturdy RS. At least on Holcomb, the boulders are so big you pivot through in your sliders, stock ones will push into your rocker panels.

I’m also a big proponent of oil pan skids. Mine hardly gets touched, but the coolant lines behind the oil pan are low hanging fruit, if a rock punctured those or your oil pain you’d be towed home.

I don’t have belly skids and I drag my gladiator through all these trails. Stock holds up fine for the most part.
To gain confidence I would watch some old Litebrite YouTube videos when they wheeled a stock JLUR to oblivion. Shows you what they will endure.

From what I have seen and heard. Stock Rubi on 33’s can do it. All you need is good spotting and a good line.

Stock Rubicon on 33s won't make it through Holcomb without winching. That being said, I'm sure there will be plenty of people on the trip with a winch .

I'm going to try to make one of the days - probably Holcomb.
