Haha, yep... and I have Rubicon takeoff springs and shocks that will be going on soon!

From the Rubicon suspension all you need to swap out are the springs and shocks, btw. The remainder parts (links, swaybars, etc.) are identical between Sahara and Rubicon. You'll get an inch and 1/2 lift from the suspension and the remainder will come from the larger tires.

I was worried my wife would hate the ride. We went for a drive and after 20 minutes she volunteered "I think it rides really well now. I like it!" Whew! She did notice the height difference, though (she's short).

I did invest in the Mopar LCAs that are 1/4 inch longer than stock. That settled the steering down.

Wish my Destination M/T’s were more worn! This is one of the tires I have been waiting to see. I think the siping is a great thing to have on these tires. Should make them much better. I sure hope that Tire Rack or someone does a Review on these soon.

There was a discussion on the KO3s on an earlier thread. For those interested, a Discount Tire rep commented that the full release of the KO3 is expected to be around May, 2024.

They haven't officially launched it yet so not sure. But I'm guessing better wet weather based on the extra siping.

They are only available in a couple sizes right now which are OEM on a couple vehicles. Luckily, one of the sizes is what I needed (285/70/17)

My biggest area of focus is if the KO3s have improved on the KO2s horrible on-road wet weather traction (at least from what I've experienced). Had them in the rain yet?

Looks like a very minor tweak to me in terms of tread on ko2 vs ko3 which is why I didn’t wait and went Baja Boss AT instead. Absolutely no comparison it’s the tire BF Goodrich wishes it made it’s phenomenal in everything imo. I’ve ran BF Goodrich tires for over 20 years but their all terrain just is getting too dated and this wasn’t the update I was hoping for. It still looks like the tread clearing properties and hydrolocking issues the old design had won’t be much improved.

Just a quick internet comparison on the specs using the 285 17 as an example. The KO2's in this size weigh 50.3 lbs. The KO3's weigh 56.99 lbs. I'm curious what the weight difference will be between the KO3's and Baja Boss AT in the larger sizes (35 and 37's) when they finally come out. Always trying to keep the tailgate as light as possible.............

Good point. Only reason I'm trying to hang on a bit longer for the KO3s is the weight of the Baja Boss.

I'm in the exact same boat! I have about 18 more months left on my 35" E Rated KO2's. These suckers are heavier than C rated KO2 37's. I'm guessing the KO3's will come in at least 5-6 lbs lighter than the Mickey Thompson Baja Bass AT's but we will see. Hoping I can go to a 37" KO3 and still feel ok about the weight on the tailgate w/ no reinforcement. Wishing that Teraflex HD tailgate reinforcement wasn't so expensive!
