Ok, so, picked up a brand new @Bestop Trektop NX slant back for my 4 door for a song. Now I know it's not everyone's glass of beer, but I like it, so keep the opinion pieces to yourself! Haha! I am aware of the controversy!
Anyway, question, I got it all installed, pretty seamless, took my time watched the videos and it all went smoothly, only I issue I came across, and hence my question, on the removable side windows with the hard corners, the window stiffeners (The official name) have a hook on the top that is supposed to clip into support bar #5 for the life of me I could not get them to sit right, see attached pics, everything else lined up and locked in perfect. I'm thinking maybe once the top stretches a bit in the sun I may be able to make the sit. Anyone else experience this on initial install? Another thought I had since they are just held on by 3 small bolts, are they even needed? Anyone just straight up remove them? TIA!
