Hi everyone, I have a chance to buy a take-off bestop trek top for $500, but I couldn't find any instruction or video regarding "re-install" the top, The seller installed the top for one season, and then take it off, leave in the garage. I assume putting the top back into the jeep won't be the same as the first-time install. Wondering if someone has experience in putting back the trek top in summer. Thanks!

I switch from Hard Top to Bestop Soft Top at the start of good weather season. When I take the Bestop off I take it off all in one piece and store and then put it back on pretty much all in one piece. Depending on whether the seller took off all in one piece the instructions I jotted down may or may not help.

Bestop Replacement
Put Tailgate Bar Retainers on corners and bolt down
Lift top back onto Jeep
Make sure the rear vertical rails are in proper position with Pin in hole
Insert and tighten 4 bolts (2 on each side)
- The Plastic piece goes under the roll bar to wrap around
- May be easier to put two bolts in (one on each side) without going through the plastic piece in order to get the placement then after getting two bolts in place through the plastic piece, undo and replace these two bolts with them now going through plastic piece
Use (2) Hard top bolts to bolt rear vertical rail into position
Fold Front rail into position
- Make sure that the front rail inserts into the rear rail as you fold it into place
Insert and tighten 4 bolts (2 on each side) holding front rail in place
Replace 'Z' clips at back of top in the holes on the rail
Replace Rear windows
Close Sunrider

Sorry, no video but with my teenage daughter helping we can put soft top on in under 30 mins.
