Wasn't following his 3.0 thread in particular, but I've personally never seen him talk bad to anyone here other than perhaps a gentle ribbing or making a funny joke in jest. Was honestly surprised when I saw that he was banned earlier today.

I did before posting and just did again, and honestly didn't notice anything too egregious at all, just some silly smack-talking Chevy vs Ford, Coke vs Pepsi type of shit. All of it seemed like light-hearted ribbing in nature and nothing truly abusive or mean-spirited imo.

You can do the same over his last week here and continue back for months, and almost all of his posts are either friendly, non-confrontational opinions or genuinely helpful advice, with only the occasional edgy tongue-in-cheek remark meant to elicit a laugh, response or further discussion.

There are just a few people here that can and will be abusive jerks when the mood strikes them, but I personally don't believe that Scott has ever been one of them. Found one post of his that wasn't his usual demeanor, but it was very minor compared to some of the personal attacks I've seen here and received myself from some guys that are still around (who are very helpful and knowledgeable individuals otherwise).

It is what it is, and since neither of us are mods, our opinions on the matter really doesn't matter too much.

I was wondering about that. The problem with going through anyone's post history is that the bad ones get deleted so what's left always looks mild. Thanks for the info!

Not sure what he said either but what I do know (not necessarily true in this case) is that too many people are offended by so much these days.
