Battery Nut Size/Name

Due to my own clumsy nature, I have lost the nut that is holding down the battery cable on the negative side of the battery. The one next to the tall post. Attached is an image (it is the nut on the right side).

Obviously I need a replacement (and to be less clumsy). If anyone can give me the name/size I would be super appreciative!

Unfortunately not. That fits the post however, but not the right hand side (where in the picture the nut is on). The m10 1.25 was too big.

I did a bit more digging and it seems to be an M6 flange, but at the same time it is said that they only fit JK Wranglers.

M6-1.00 Flange Nut. The other you will find on the battery is an M8-1.25

You can use a Wing Nut for quick release.

Thank you so much for confirming this and for the quick release options! Luckily my Jeep is drivable, so I can head into town and grab me this. Really appreciate the reply, you just saved me a headache!

Actually, it not hard to make up. You just drill a hole into a coupler and hammer in an aluminum nail into the hole and then saw the head off of the nail.
