Baja Designs Squadron-R Pro Light issue

Hi all, I have had a set of the Squadron-R Pro's on my JL that I have been running for the last year and a half along with many other lights by them with no issues till now. Last week one of the squadron lights went out. Now every time I try to turn them on, they both come on and then the same light flickers and then goes out and stays off. I also tried them with another harness I have, through my sPod and have the same issue. Please let me know if anyone has any suggestions to get this working again if possible.

I'd start by the simple stuff. Check wiring, grounds, and then swapping the connections (routing wires going to good light to bad) to confirm the light is bad. What's the warranty? I'm sure BD tech support would better guide you in the right direction.

They have a limited lifetime warranty if you are the original owner with proof of purchase.

If you aren’t the original owner I bet they’ll still be happy to help you trouble shoot.

I usually start by taking everything else I can out of the equation. For example with a suitable wire size, wire the questionable light directly to a 12 volt battery and see if it behaves the same. If not add one more thing at a time until you duplicate the problem.

I would check the connector and just see if the pins are making a proper connection. It's also possible that there is water intrusion in the light, which could have compromised the motherboard. Reach out to me directly at [email protected], and I can get you started with a warranty if necessary.
