Backordered everywhere - anyone have a lead?

My father-in-law ordered a trailer hitch assembly for his 2021 Kia Seltos months ago. He was jerked around by various support personnel at carparts.com until they finally said the part was not available. They refunded him, but that doesn't help.

I've looked at Rock Auto, Summit, eBay, Amazon, Walmart, and everywhere else I could think of.

Anyone know of a smaller outfit that might have stock?

Yeah, that was my first stop... sold out. Looks like a supply chain issue. Even eBay has nothing.
