Critical Parts backordered until October,2022

I stopped at my local Jeep Dealer for yearly Inspection, and an air cleaner. I got the last one, for 2.0T ; they are back ordered until OCTOBER. I was also told Diesel Engine Motor oil is UNAVAILABLE.
Has anyone else heard first hand of once common parts now being Unobtanium ?? Why ?

Why ?

We’re still technically in the middle of a worldwide pandemic. There are supply chain issues and shortages of many things.

Plus, now with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, things are more screwed up. Oil and gas prices are sky high and supplies of both are slowly becoming constrained. Russia, believe it or not, supplies a vast amount of oil that the rest of the world consumes.
