Backing Up UConnect Trail Recordings?

Is there a way I can get some kind of GPS file (GPX) from the trails that I recorded on the 8.4" Nav system?

Yep, When you are in your nav system press the goto button (forgot the exact name). Down to the bottom there is a trail button and when you press that it takes you to a menu that has the option to record trails.

Right, but can the trail data be backed up to a flash drive or to the cloud so you don’t lose them due to an update or a factory reset????

bumping. there has to be a way to back up user defined data such as trails on this 8.4 uconnect system, otherwise we could loose all that data if uconnect does a reset, etc.
