Skilled drivers back in.
It's how we recognize each other.
Poor drivers make excuses for their inability to do so.
If someone can’t park a 2 door Jeep forward or back, even parallel. They probably shouldn’t be driving.

I back into my spots as much as I can except for the grocery store. I pull in there so the rear is accessible to load groceries. I also back into the garage. I have a piece of non-skid tape on my floor. When the rear camera shows me over the tape, I know I'm in the garage enough to safely close the door. My garage is tiny and every inch helps.

You're assuming that backing in is legal. It typically isn't in states that don't have front license plates.
No front plates in PA, and no law that proscribes reversing in to a public parking space. Our State Police do it as a matter of policy.

I prefer backing it in, and would be inclined to disregard any such laws to the contrary. Let the meter maid walk a little farther to determine that my license plate is present and correct.
