Back up Camera alignment

Does anyone know if there is some sort of procedure to align the back up camera? Been having the issue backing into spots and in the camera it looks like I’m coming in completely parallel with the lines on the pavement but get out and the parking is all kinds of jacked up. Now if I use the mirrors I can back straight in no problem and in the camera it’s all crooked.

Looking at the actual camera it does look as if it’s kinda pointing off to one side.

On mine the camera detached from the housing which was causing it to sit and point the wrong direction. Take a closeup look at yours to see if it looks like it is sitting in the housing correctly. If not, it is a pretty easy fit to take it apart and glue it back in place.

There is no electronic software procedure to calibrate or re-align the factory JL Wrangler backup camera. Since the factory housing is rigidly fixed to the spare tire carrier, the camera itself may have physically shifted, or the guidelines might be misaligned

Yeah I figured there would be no software procedure. If it was done electronically then I would not bother with as screwed up as my uconnect 5 is.

Was wondering if it’s amiable / adjustable in the mount

I've had same issue since brand new. Looks like a super star backup into a spot and you get out and see you parked crooked. I figure it's a jeep thing so just back in the old fashion way... with mirrors.

I've had the same issue with my camera, but above and beyond that, it also shows part of the wheel. When I first bought my 392, the picture was clear and it did not show any of the wheel. Now it does, and it's annoying. I took it back to the dealership, and they replaced the camera. They said this is the best we can do.
