There is some level of explanation in the owner manual.

Really nothing to it. Run a wire from your harness wire of your choosing under the hood, to your lights. Done. Two 40 amps and two 15 amps are your choices. 5-10 minutes maybe. It will take you longer to mount them, than wire them.

The two 40 amps are the larger wires.

Aux 1 = pink/tan 40amp
Aux 2 = green/purple 40amp
Aux 3 = orange 15amp
Aux 4 = purple 15amp

Woah, looking back at the picture from another thread, I never noticed they were different thicknesses. It makes perfect sense now, thanks!

Thought I would share my wiring mess:

Notes:
The Aux1 and Aux3, RED tags, are capped off becuase I used the wires in the engine compartment for them.
The two big red wires(12 and 14awg) are WAY WAY overkill but it is what I had so I used it.
Aux2 is 40amp so I added a fuse because my compressor wire just runs a relay using a 2amp fuse.
Aux4 is 15amp and directly runs my LED reverse lights which I do not have yet. No fuse needed as 15amps is fine.
Aux1 is 40amps and it also just runs a relay in the engine compartment. Do not hook a winch directly to aux wires!

where are the ends of the wire located ? are they factory fused ?
Per the Owner's Manual, they are factory fused. Connections are located under instrument panel and under hood behind battery.
