Hi All, I have a 2020 JLU Rubicon stick transmission. Recently I had the autostart light come on. The next day the autostart light and check engine light came on. The code said that it was false starting and something with the spark plugs I can't remember the exact code. So I brought it to the dealer in town. They told me that it was the cam shaft and wouldn't be able to fix it for over a month. I towed it to a different dealer about 1.5 hours away. They looked at it and said they couldn't find anything wrong with it and charged me $200 for a diagnostic fee.. I towed it home again. The next day I drove about ten miles and the autostart light came on so I clicked the shut off button every time I started the jeep and didn't have any issues until about a week later, maybe put on a total of 50 miles and the jeep started to make sounds. It first sounded like a squeaky belt or something then it got progressively worse and sounds like metal on metal grinding so I pulled over and got a truck and trailer (this happened all within a mile). I towed it back to the dealer and they told me the noise wasn't happening when they test drove. I'm at a loss for words. I plan to pick it up tomorrow. Has anyone experienced this before?
