I’m a little disappointed that you can’t fit a 35 without the relocation bracket. I was under the impression it could handle a 35”. Maybe because it’s larger than most other 35s?
When you say 'relocation bracket' are you referring to the wheel spacers I mentioned? I only installed those to get a slightly wider stance as well as sit flush with the fender flare extenders, not to avoid rubbing. With a 35x11.50 tire on stock rims I can't imagine they would rub on a Rubicon if installed without wheel spacers. They have more wheel clearance from the factory vs other trims. But all that depends on what rims and tires someone is running. If they install wider 35" tires on aftermarket rims, they could rub depending on the rim offset as well as how wide they went with the tire.

I meant for the spare tire carrier.

Oh yeah, I was surprised too. It was barely touching though. Enough to rub each time, but after putting some miles on the tires they would fit. Didn’t want to wait for that and I also did notice some tailgate sag, so I sucked it up and got the relocation kit.

I tossed a set on my ‘23 willys to replace the Firestone M/T. Went up to a 33”. They are definitely quiet and smooth. Also very heavy. I’m not a weak person but with a recent back injury I was able to lift them myself. The spare didn’t fit on the tire carrier. The tire was hitting the brake light bracket (even with the bracket raised) and slightly rubbing on the bumper. I ended up getting the mopar brake light relocation bracket and I’m going to assume the tire will stop rubbing the bumper when I do the 5 tire rotation.
