I checked the price on-line for the extended warranties, do you know if there are discounts off of that price if I work with the dealer?

Thanks
So, I'm answering my own question. I found a dealer who sells the Mopar MaxCare Warranty (I found his name on another forum). I checked with him and his price was less than the online price. I asked him if I could give out his information on this forum and he was Ok with that. So if you want to get a price for a warranty contact him, and no, I have no affiliation with him.

@JLWF Dealer Guy sorry one more question, last night the local dealer informed me that the order window was closed for any new JL orders. Is this just a local thing or is this across the board? I'm trying to order a 6-speed manual Rubicon with a soft top.

Would you happen to know the lease MF is for Chrysler Capital for tier 1?

Allocation is closed but a sold order can be placed at any time

Can you please explain the difference.

The order can be placed providing you put money down?
Allocation is the amount of vehicles the dealership is allotted for that month. Sold order is putting a customers name address email and phone number on it assuring FCA it is a sold order which in theory is supposed to be prioritized.

So just so I have this straight, so long as I put the $500 order fee down and provide the information you stated the dealer should be able to go in and place the order even though it will put them above their allocation numbers or will they have to modify an existing order already placed in the allotment, i.e. changing the options like auto to manual, etc...?

@JLWF Dealer Guy. I'm trying to figure out a way to get my build in without waiting on the tan soft top. If I ordered dual tops with the tan as the soft top would they build the order and send the tan soft top later, when available? Thanks for all your help.

@JLWF Dealer Guy @ThirtyOne, question for you guys...I saw a dealer on Friday and ordered a a JLUSport S. The next day, I noticed a post saying hard tops on Sports weren't being allowed to order. I called the salesman asking him about this and he said that was true (I asked when the heck they planned on telling me that!). I requested to be transfered to the finance guy - whom was recommended to me through a friend and we hit it off. He said they have virtually the same order minus one feature coming in soon (it's in "I" status on the POC) that he could put my name on. I agreed I could live with it and be happy as hell to get it sooner. So I put $500 down and he sent me an dealer order sheet with the VIN #. Later that day, I spoke to the sales guy again and he said that the VIN # might change but it'll be virtually the same car I wanted.:whatsgoingon:

I chatted with Jeep customer service just now and asked them about the status and they said:

Randolph: What I am showing is this is a dealership order and that you would need to have the dealership make this into a sold order to speed the process up as sold orders take priority.

My spidey-sense says something's not right....shouldn't he have put my name on it as a sold order? or is the sales guy playing games?
