Good afternoon,

I went to start Pain Train this morning and the push button start switch wouldn't even light up saying "off". A closer inspection found that the HVAC controls, the radio functions, and the dash wouldn't work. The only way I could get the dash to come on was by turning on the hazards first, then it would light up, and then I could turn the radio on to listen to music and music only.

Very strange symptoms. I went digging and found the 3 fuses after the ASD relay had no power. The ASD relay was receiving power at both points it's supposed to.

The discreet for controlling the relay comes out of the PCM. I had just finished tack welding my cage together, so my first thought was that I burned up the computer welding. I had the batteries disconnected though... Anyway, the issue was:

The ground wire just inside the drivers side/passenger door sill is the ground for those functions. I find this very strange that the ground for the ASD, PCM, Injectors, and HVAC controls are in the back of the passenger compartment, but alas, here we are. The video here shows where it is.

I read several posts with people having same or like symptoms as I did. Please check this ground or add it to your troubleshooting steps.
