My drivers door arm rest makes a noise like glue is coming loose or tape. I don’t know just makes a noise. My other doors don’t make any noise. Took to dealer and said that’s normal. Could a few of you pull on arm rest and see if makes a noise. Please. So I know if dealership is full of it. Been in and out shop for 2 months. Thanks

mine doesn't make any sounds. Personally if I was told that was normal, then every door in the jeep would make that same "normal" sound.

No sound here but I'm wondering if all deals were programmed to say "it's a normal Jeep thing"

I'm having the exact same glue/tape ripping sound when pulling my driver door closed. I just thought it is what it is but I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Hope better luck than me. I’m just worried will get worse why I ask them to put more glue or tape on it. Of course gave the usual answer normal for a Jeep. I will have to go back after others said not normal. As I figured already

Good evening,
I understand how this would be concerning. Feel free to send us a private message if you choose to have your dealers look into this so we can help address any questions or concerns you may have.

I had the same issue. I pulled the door panel off to see if something wasn’t tight. I didn’t find anything. Put everything back together and for some reason the noise was gone. No idea what fixed it.
