App manager

I cant remember the exact name but ithink it is app manager or projection or something like that but it basically mirrors your device phone or tablet etc. Has anyone tried running a tablet that is running a nav program like gaia or bcn? Isnt that what it does? If not feel free to enlighten me! And fyi i am settled in for the night and not going out to figure out the name of the icon on the 8.4 inch screen. Thanks

From what I have come to understand about this sort of useless feature is that, when it is deactivated, CarPlay or android auto won’t work.

Why would we want to have a feature like this? No idea.
