Regardless of whether it’s option A, B, or C, it’s completely normal and all diesel Jeeps do it. For the longest I thought it was the little fans in the LED lights as my wife’s aftermarket LED bulbs did the same thing when I shut it down.

There is no auxiliary water pump cooling the turbo. Find me a part number for the pump if someone tells you that there is a pump.

It’s also not the DEF lines emptying. The pump for that is in the DEF tank, at the rear of the Jeep.

The buzzing noise is the HPFP, it has fuel circulating through it via the pump in the tank. There was an FCA notification that went out, and someone posted it on the forums, that stated this.

That buzz is always there. Seems like it was circulated for a while that it is the HPFP doing something as well. So the three speculations are: 1) DEF return 2) Turbo cooldown or 3) HPFP return.

I remember reading (my not be correct) people that have gotten their Jeep tuned have stated the tune stopped the buzzing.
#1 DEF return ?
