I you are doing any off-roading, you may want to consider something frame mounted. Looks like these just bolt to the pinch seam like the stock steps.

Thx. Yeah I am a trails and beach guy. That is a good point however. I was concerned with sturdiness, don’t want it flexing every time I step in, it will drive me crazy.

I went with the LoD Destroyer step-slider and it's held up well. There is no flex unless I jack up the Jeep (4xe Rubi) and it flexes ~3mm at the "weak" (front). They're bolt-on frame mounted and the powder coating is still perfect after two winters and two SC beach area salty summers. Here's a link to one of the threads on them:
