I currently have the RockTrix RT111 on a completely stock 2018 Wrangler JL 2door with no lift or leveling kit. Full specs are below for anyone looking for similar fitment. I personally went with the positive offset as I did not want the wheels to stick out too far, but there is a negative offset option that would have your wheels poke out a bit more if you prefer that look. I've been driving around with the 33in tire set up with no rubbing or concerns so far. Only note is that your stock lugs won't fit the wheel so I purchased a set of black lugs instead.

Trim: JL 2dr Sport S
Wheel: RockTrix 17x9 RT111
Offset: +12
Lift/level: Stock
Tire: Falken Wildpeak A/T 285/70R17
Lug nuts: 1.25 inch with 60 degree conical taper

The ONLY question I have at this point. How do these rims do with lower tire pressures?
Not bad at all~ We recommend our customers to air out to 15PSI but there has been instances where our customers have given us feedback that they have gone all the way down to 10PSI and they had no problems at all

Good to hear. I know most times anyone has to get down to 8PSI, you best be running bead locks. Now, the wife likes the RT117 in matte gunmetal. I like the RT111 in matte gunmetal. So now, we see who wins that battle. Any place special I should order from? Or doesn't really matter?

Yeah definitely safer to be on bead locks at that low of a PSI that's for sure. Doesn't matter at all you can purchase directly off our Website or Amazon. Once you place your order it only takes 1 business day to ship to you and free shipping to the lower 48 states~ Let me know if you need any assistance and we can help you out as best as possible!~

Yup, Wife won, it's gonna be the RT117's. Better to order via the website or amazon? If amazon is a middleman, I have no problem cutting them out of the equation.

That was a quick decision! You can buy directly from us here: https://rocktrix.com/products/rt117?variant=40465155260439 ~ Thank you so much!~ If you need anything else please let me know~ Would love to see what they look like on your Jeep!
Happy wife, easy life, right? lol So before I go ahead and place the order for 5 of these things. Two quick questions. Stock camera on the spare tire carrier. No issues with the rims and that feature? Now, the biggie. Offset. As I spent some time looking at a good number of your wheels, I noticed +12, -12, and a -38 backspacing. I'm not looking to have the tires sticking way out from under the fenders. So, I kinda thought the -12 was the offset to go with. Am I correct? Have no fear, I could be very wrong, it won't be the first (or last) time for that. Just wanna make sure I'm grabbing the right wheels to eliminate any issues or problems well in advance. Thanks again.

Yessir you're 100% right! Stock camera on the spare tire you won't have an issue but you will have to remove the outer cover. Most of our customers go with the -12 and this is kind of what it would look like: (The 4XE has a slightly wider track about 1"-2" so it will look less aggressive than this)

+12 would also work for a more conservative fit, it'll still poke a little past the fenders but not as much as the -12's would. No problem at all, it's better to ask questions and get it right the first time rather than getting it wrong and that's what we're here for! You're absolutely right though with what you said~ Yes, if you have anymore questions please feel free to ask before purchasing! We'd love to make sure that you get the right one that fits for you!

Went to order the wheels from your website. Not cool with most secure transactions online, and no PayPal to complete with. Opted for Amazon and grabbed 5 of them. I'll be snapping pics soon enough cause we're gearing up for our 1st camping thing for our 43rd anniversary. Thanks for the help. Can't wait to get 'em wrapped in BFG KO2's and on the JLU... :)

Well, got them mounted with BFG KO2's, balanced, and installed with all new sensors. And they look awesome. And like we discussed, the -12 offset only shows one tread out from under the fender. Not too aggressive, not to timid either. They are a nice looking addition.

Now for the issues during and after the install. Start with after. And this is seriously a non issue. The two bumpers for the spare tire on the tailgate. They have to have spacers and longer screws installed. Again, this is a simple fix. The other, those center caps. Man, it is almost impossible to get these things to mount without snapping a tab. Of the 5 I received, two of them had a single tab snap during installation. They finally mounted, as to how secure, I kinda hope they don't exit the Jeep while driving. One center cap is simply not useable. It snapped a pair of tabs, and simply not worth trusting. But from the looks of things, everything appears to be solid.

Thanks for answering all the questions (and fears). The RockTrix 117's absolutely look awesome.
