Has anyone else with the new steering box had any issues with play in their steering? I had a 2020 with the old aluminum box that was terrible. I had the TSB done and it drove fantastic. This new 2022 is not as bad as my 2020 pre-TSB but it is far from good. I think it actually might be inducing death wobble when hitting bumps because there is so much play.

For context, the only work I've done to the Jeep is swapping out the stock suspension for Rubicon suspension and adding the longer Mopar LCAs.

Always such a huge spread of answers to steering box questions.
My steel box is terrible, the aluminum one was actually a little better. To put it in perspective its just slightly better than a 1998 F350 with 350k on the odometer.

I have the new one in my 2021 and the dealership is replacing it soon due to the amount of play in it.

My 2022 392 XR was fine new but now with approx. 2500 miles seems almost as bad as my '20 was with the aluminum box. :(

I just crawled under the jeep and found the tie rod to be loose. Hoping that is the issue...
