I’d Rather Talk Jeep’s!
When my wife asks me to do chores I can never keep track of them and simply forget to do half of them thereby creating a perfect recipe for arguments (especially since it’s an ongoing and reoccurring condition).

When it comes to my (and even my wife’s) vehicles, I remember exactly what needs to be done and in the correct order. ? I can easily remember torque values, socket size, etc. When my new Wrangler finally arrives I know exactly what I want to do to it first, second, and third, etc. (@JEEPIDON …I threw in Wrangler substance just for you?).

Anyone else have this “problem” or is it just me?

Make a list of the chores and that will eliminate the problem.

Yes, I have that problem with subjects I either 1) Do not want to do, or 2) Don't do very often.

I have no problem when it comes to knowing what to do and when to do it on the subject of guns, Jeeps, tools, wood projects, guns, computers, audio/video projects, guns, business consulting and keeping the household books. Oh, did I mention guns? ;)

I think you're good, forget the chores and focus on the Jeep.

It's human nature. Especially if you have any degree of OCD.

It's easy to remember the things you are interested in. It's hard to remember other things.

Best advice is to write down your wife's list so you can remember.

My wife always asks me if I need to write the chores down and I do. Problem is I still have a hard time following the darn list. ? Especially nowadays when my new Jeep is to arrive next week or so.

Yeah….I’m relatively new. Signed up in January when I began dreaming of owning a Wrangler again. Took until 6/23 to finally order it. And she should be here next week or so. Then I will be legit official!

And thanks for the welcome!

Give yourself some credit, you are doing good remembering half of them. Just tell its her list and she can do them herself. Especially with a new Jeep on the way, you will be busy with the upgrades.

Totally get you! Chores are my Achilles' heel, too. But when it comes to vehicles, it's like I've got a photographic memory!
I even looked up some medical conditions at restore-mentalhealth.com to check if there was nothing to worry about. Sometimes, it's better to be sure, right? It's funny how our minds prioritize certain things. I'm glad I'm not the only one with this "selective memory" situation.
