I know its not in Texas but it is worth the extra miles to go to Hot Springs ORP formerly called "Superlift." Just called them today 5/18/2020. They are fully open and even the camping will startup this next weekend. Always open thursday through Monday. None of the nonsense you have to go through at many other places. Its bigger and has trails from novice to Southern Rock bouncer championship routes. Also Three of their trails are in theJeep Badge of honor list. I highly recommend "Fun Run" and "Rubicon Ridge"
