Long story short I had to get some pieces replaced on my soft top. The insurance shop replaced them but there is a gap now. How can I adjust the soft top so it latches easier. They replaced both of the back pieces(2nd pic) as well as the bar they connect to under the fabric

Note the loose fabric was cause I started to flip in back just didn't undo latch.

I feel those angled pieces should be touching the frame

Mine was actually off-kilter similar to your first picture the first time I installed it. After latching it a few times the gap went away and now its perfectly aligned.

So to latch I hate to use one hand press hard on to bring it close enough to latch. Once latched the other goes on easy normal jl. Same for removing first is super easy to unlatch then 2nd is a bitch too.

Is it getting any easier over multiple latches? If not then yeah something likely needs to be adjusted.

Not really but I've had top down for last week. Will have to latch it more with rain coming. And see if it breaks in some more
