Wondering if folks can share their experience with the Mopar beadlock rings on the beadlock capable wheels. What I have seen is that the Mopar bead locking rings have hardware that sticks out quite a bit. It seems to me that this would present an issue with replacing the tire, when the time comes. I have had beadlocks before, but they had counter-sunk bolts to retain the ring. I am worried that damage to these bolts could create a huge problem when replacing the tires.

The beadlocks I have experience with are the pro-comp trilogy series and they worked well but the bolts were not in risk of being damaged. Any stories or pictures out there to help. I am wanting to see if it would be worth it to get the rings or just to sell the Mopar Beadlock capable wheels and buy another set of bead locks

I would not worry about it. The bolts on my Walker Evans wheels are standard bolts and they get scraped up on the rocks. Just have to file some of the flats on some of the bolts to get a socket on them. Not a big deal.

How far out to your bolts stick out from the wheel? I haven't seen the mopar ones in person but there are a few YouTube videos that show the bolts. They seem to be 12pt bolts that stick out 1/4" or more. I guess I'm just worried about breaking them off with how much I managed to mangle my Pro comps.

Unless Mopar changed them, the bolts are six point. I have damaged mine, but always managed to be able to file a little off, and get a socket tapped on with a hammer to retorque. My guess is the bolts stick out 3/8"ish from the face of the lock ring. I got a deal on mine, that's why I run them.

Interesting. I have seen a few different styles that are "mopar". I am wanting to get them for my 392XR when it arrives. But I feel that I would have to order them now to have them in time for summer wheeelin.

Your XR will come with a wheel that is very close to the JPP wheel. There is a difference in the valve stem area. The bead lock rings will fit. The bead lock rings are available pretty quick.
