Another year, another top :(

Has anybody else had the fabric literally disintegrate where the bows attach to the top? The dealer replaced the entire top last year for the same problem and even though it's only a standard soft top (not premium) it seems that only getting one year out of it is a bit disappointing. Since replacement the top has only been down twice so it's not like it gets folded up and down with regularity although that really shouldn't make a difference. I know the Arizona sun is brutal on convertible tops but my JK had a 100k miles and six years on it without any issues (aside from being a lot more difficult to raise and lower). I will be scheduling with the dealer next week and I really hope that there's an updated design or maybe even give me the option to have premium top installed in lieu of the standard. Bummer

Push for that. My premium top is finishing its third summer and it’s still like new. (It’s on year round, so it’s also been through two New England winters.)
