When I poke the on/off button for the ignition in the Jeep (2022 JLU), there are three actual positons - ACC, RUN, and Start. then just like a keyed car, once started goes back to RUN. I am in search of a fuse that will be OFF when OFF, and have power only when in ACC position. I have been using a fuse that is ON when in the RUN position, but i would prefer one that is on with just ACC only. I have already have an "add on fuse" to F53. I see that i can use F43/45, but the add-on fuse from F53 covers F45, and then sticks out too far to put the cover back on. I am currently using F58 (passenger heated seat) spot, but its only powered in the RUN position. So where this question is coming from is that i noticed when in the RUN position there sounds like a pump that is running in the engine bay. I often turn on my ham radio while waiting for my wife, and dont want to sit there with some pump running for 30min or longer while i wait. I have tried a couple others fuses that google has said, but they are either hot when off, or not powered till RUN. What i am connecting is a home made AUX switch of 6 round lit rocker switches that fits into the empty spot in the center console (attached pic for reference). I think i need a 20A fuse, but I may not, which could expand my options. this AUX switch panel only activates relays, and is not directly connected to any device, and i doubt that i will ever have more than 3-4 devices on at any time.

thanks no. I want a fuse to provide power to the switch panel. The accessories i have and additional ones will have relays added for them.

Use fuse #52 (cigar) with a fuse tap (photo) if you don't want to use the actual cigar input. I use it for my DRLs (TrueMod LED headlights), I put a small 20A switch just outside the fuse box if I ever want to turn them off...

I have a 23 JLU, and F53 is typically the power port in the dash if you want to tap there. (check the fuse cover to be sure) That port stays on when the jeep is turned off but turns off when a door is opened or the time delay set in settings expires. I used it to tap my center console USB port (F11) so that the usb port would turn off when the doors were opened or the time out times out. I think that is what you are wanting. Here is the link to the thread for the USB port if you want more insite. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/making-center-console-usb-switched.55765/

Try fuse F50 or F51, they're downstream of the RELAY-RUN/ACCESSORY 1 relay - which I believe corresponds to the ACC position on the ignition switch.

Edit: F50 is for the IGN wire of the Uppfitters Accessories (i.e. factory Aux Switches), so it should be empty if the Jeep doesn't have that option. I can confirm it operates with the ACC ignition position, as I have the factory option and use it for accessories.

I already have one of these in #52 for my DRLs. I was just looking for another similar one.

Silly question, but why run to the fusebox for accessory power when you have the cig lighter right above the switch panel and provides power in ACC and is sitting on a 20A fuse?

well i didnt think of that when i had the dash pulled apart :P

Do you have seat warmers? If not, this is a good fuse to use.
i dont, and i am using one of those right now, as a temp solution. But as i said when there is power to it, then there is also some pump running in the engine bay. I am looking for something that is powered when in ACC not RUN.
