The dash cam I bought has a direct wire kit with Add-a-Fuse connectors and those have an included 3 amp fuse. I am going to wire direct to the interior AUX wires. I know that the constant power and switched power for the AUX is fused at 10 amps. Would you bother to add an in-line fuse and use the 3 amp fuses that it came with? I do not see a fuse on the cigarette lighter power adapter that it came with and I think the cigar lighter is fused at 20 amps.

I have mine connected to the aux wires (battery/ignition) with no additional fuses, as the circuits are already fused. I wouldn't worry about adding additional fuses.
