Another newb......

Hey all. I've spent the last couple of weeks lurking on this site as a guest doing research and reading threads. Placed an order on a 2023 JLU Rubicon in Sarge Green last Friday, so I figured it was time to register. Really appreciate all the information and knowledge I've gained already in a rather short period of time here. My wife and I have been a Mopar family for years now between Ram trucks, Jeep, and Dodge, but this will be our first ever Wrangler and primarily hers to drive. We've had the itch for one for sometime now and finally scratched it. So, the waiting game is on for us. Look forward to the journey and continuing learning more about our new purchase.

Thanks! Yes, the AUX switches and trailer tow group was a must for me. I plan to add some additional lighting and we do have a boat but it exceeds the tow rating of the Jeep (have a Ram 1500 for that). At the very least, I figure a cargo carrier will be on order. We do a lot of family trips to OBX and mountain camping. Can't wait to take the Jeep on those trips.

Just received an update that I've moved to D1 status (scheduled) exactly 2 weeks from the day I placed my order. Pretty happy about this. I do see some members here sit in that status for quite a while, so we'll see how the progression continues.

Thats pretty quick hope everything goes that way for you. Seems the safety packages are what tend to slow most orders down.

Yes, I was worried about that and all of the Mopar related add-ons I chose. I didn't get the advanced safety group with the brake assist, adaptive CC, things like that, but I did add the basic safety group. We'll see....

Yea, luckily I wanted a pretty base Rubicon and my order was done right at 8 weeks. Heres to you having yours just as quick.

Much appreciated! I saw the recent pics of yours in the Sarge Green thread, looks great! We have a family trip planned to OBX this coming July, so we're just hoping ours arrives before that trip so we can hopefully do some beach driving.
